I don't think he said anything like that. Just said his corp didn't operate the same way as others do.
If you think a corp that doesn't just benefit a few at the top sounds better just for that, perhaps you should consider joining?

Apparently you missed all the news stories about CEOs 'retiring' with 50 million dollar retirement packages while the company went bankrupt and was unable to pay the workers for months of work.

I had been trying to keep RL separate to EVE, I still have hope in EVE for some greater good, not much, but some.
It's pretty much the same here, only not as noticeable.
Was quite a wakeup for me to run my own medium POS, and see how little fuel and isk it takes to run them. The tax is pretty much pure profit for the average CEO in game. I can only see it necessary in corps with dozens and dozens of stations.

I'm paranoid and cynical by nature, which is worth noting.
You must admit most EVE players are self sufficient, though, and asking for things in corps is frowned upon. With those things in mind, the tax is somewhat pointless.
